First off, this pump is a complete game changer! It’s innovative technology and features are what makes it stand out. What’s even more exciting and amazing is how this pump has a power pumping feature like no other! If you are new or seasoned in your breastfeeding journey, Ardo’s Alyssa has everything you need, especially if you find yourself in a cluster feeding period. As Mommy of five previous and new exclusively breastfed munchkins, I have finally found a pump that doesn’t leave me feeling like ran a marathon! The power pumping button is programmed to do all the work for you, and is definitely effective when it comes to increasing your milk supply. It’s made such a significant difference with my supply. I actually look forward to how comfortable my pumping sessions are. I now feel confident using this feature. If you aren’t looking into power pumping you can simply switch to your regular pumping preference, with eight different vaccum and cycle levels! There is also a convenient memory plus feature button that actually saves your pumping history. This feature makes it so convenient and easy, since I forget so much these days, with so much on my plate. It’s so easy to assemble, and even includes how to videos that are easy to access on how to assemble your pump! The design is always so simple and sleek, which i love. and it’s actually the perfect size that I can take it just about anywhere, especially with a rechargeable battery! A major plus for me is the MyArdo App that you can actually download which makes it possible to control your pump straight from your smartphone. If you are considering getting a pump that is effective, easy to use and assemble, innovative, like no other, please look no further, Alyssa is the perfect personal pumping assistant! Ardo also has the best customer service, and is with you through every step of your nursing journey! — Lucy
This is absolutely the best pump I’ve ever used. Within just two days, I noticed a huge increase in the amount I was able to pump (I was six weeks postpartum and was pumping about 3 ounces maximum, but this went up to seven ounces!) This was without even using the power pumping feature, which I tried out to boost my evening milk supply. My baby was fussy and hungry every hour in the evenings for a while making me think my milk supply was low - I used the power pumping feature for three nights at 6pm and noticed a huge difference even between the three days. It has been two weeks and my supply is still plentiful at night! That’s not to say I love everything about this pump. It’s a little bit noisy, the buttons can be either really sensitive or don’t work at times, and there’s no way to manually program the pump in the app - you have to run an actual pumping session and then save it to the memory. That means there are always a few annoying seconds at the beginning of my programmed settings where I was adjusting the pump, instead of it doing exactly what I want every time. These cons practically don’t matter. They are so unimportant compared to the actual results I am getting - so much milk! The app on the phone lets me control the pump so that the finicky buttons are a moot point. The noise is nowhere near loud enough to be annoying or wake my baby. The suction is very comfortable, the flanges fit well, and I tried it with the Optiflow massage inserts and got even better results!!!! Also, on a side note, the clear aesthetic makes it so satisfying to watch your milk flow into the bottles. I learned so much more about my let-downs (plural!) during pumping than I knew before. I would highly recommend this pump. — Amy
I’m towards the end of my pumping journey with my second kid, and this is seriously my favorite pump (I’ve tried at least 6 different ones including the more mainstream) and I wish more people knew about Ardo pumps! I think the think I really appreciate is that it seems like it was made with moms in mind using new technology. Highlights: -portable! There’s a built in battery so just charge and go. It doesn’t lose any suction power when unplugged. I haven’t tested the battery life yet. -it’s fairly quiet. I mean, it’s not silent, but compared with some other pumps it’s much quieter. You can hear it in the video -suction power and frequency are totally customizable. As with other Ardo pumps you can change them independently. For example, I like pumping at the same frequency as stimulation mode but with more suction than during stimulation mode. -comfortable? I don’t know if I can ever say pumping is comfortable, but I only use it at a 3-4 level (out of 8) vacuum level and I’m never sore. Part of that has to do with the ability to customize suction and frequency separately -it has a timer so you can see how long your session is -the save feature will literally remember the exact timing and setting of your saved session -power pumping-I didn’t even know this was a thing with my first kid. Game changer! -there’s an app! While most times I still controlled it from the device, it was a nice feature. Cons: -the parts aren’t the easiest to clean, but are similar to other pumps -the flange sizing is interesting. This one comes with 22mm inserts for 26mm flanges. Most other pumps come with size 24mm standard they have a guide for you to find the right size -there’s a slight learning curve if you’ve never used an Ardo pump, but the manual and tips are super helpful! Just remember that you need to press and hold over the buttons to turn them on/off — Melissa
I absolutely love this pump! It’s been tough to find a double pump that was consistent in both pump actions and tracking, for an affordable price. The different settings are incredibly useful for the day to day. The tracking app makes it so easy to try and measure production as well, so planning ahead for storage has become easier. — Normie
Perfect on the go manual breast pump. Very convenient for quick pumping session. No issues here. Would recommend to anyone. — Oc
The pump is very convenient. It’s simple to put together and easy to clean, store and use. The handle is very sturdy, you can pump at your rhythm. Overall, the pump has a nice suction, it's easy to have full control the speed and the force. The breast shells are the most common sizes, had no problem with the fitting. The ergonomic handle does help avoid fatigue, my hand does not get too tired, and I love that right- and left-handed people can use it. The pump is quiet when using. I find it better than the Medela manual breast pump. Plus, it's an excellent value for the price. I am very happy with this purchase. — Sofia Espinoza Alvarez
The Ardo hand pump is a perfect tool for pumping! I find this super helpful when needing a quick pump to relieve some pressure or travel. I just took it on a trip and loved how light, compact and quiet it is to use! I loved how simple it is to put together and disassemble for easy cleaning too. The handle moves in a few different positions to be more ergonomic for left or right sided use. It also comes automatically with two flange sizes and easily interchangeable. The pump has the common duckbill shaped membrane and even comes with an extra. I also liked that it comes with a base to rest it on and a screw cap for the bottle if you need to store your milk in that one. I found I was able to extract a good amount of milk with this and could easily mimic my electric pump with quick short bursts of suction or longer slower draws. I really liked this hand pump! — Adzam
This product was easy to apply and I didn’t have to wipe off before feeding baby. It soothed my sore nipples and is vegan which is awesome! It was easy to get out of the tube and will be my go to nipple cream. I like it a lot more than lanolin which I find to be very thick and hard to apply. — Monika
Game changer for sore nipples. Loved the quality and fast delivery. Must have for all nursing moms. — Kate
I have been exclusively pumping for the last 5 months and have never thought about using a cream up until recently. Ever since using this cream pumping is painless, my nipples are not sore anymore and best of all it is safe for my daughter — Paige Coke
I like the soothing components of this product compared to the other lanolin that I've tried. Not only do I apply it after breastfeeding, I also use it prior to pumping for ease and comfort. Lastly, I can appreciate the small packaging which doesn't take up so much space in my bag. — Leah
I currently have four different nipple creams in my stash and this one is the best. Unlike some other lanolin creams, this one is 100% pure lanolin, without any fillers or additional ingredients. Unlike other pure lanolin creams, this one is not at all sticky or excessively thick. It is thick enough to provide protection and moisture, but it spreads on easily and comfortably. My nipples have been chapped lately and they’re already noticeably healed after one week. I’ve also been putting it on my hands and cuticles at night, and I immediately stopped getting hangnails. I definitely recommend this product for chapped nipples or any dry skin that needs protection and healing. — 阿曼达
This pump is easy to clean and easy to use. There aren’t too many parts to wash which is a huge plus for me. It doesn’t quite empty me like a wall pump but does a pretty good job for a hands free. It feels high quality like it will last a while. I hadn’t heard of this brand before but I think it’s a good one so far! — Insomnomnomnia
easy to use and clean and its comfortable. it has great suction and I like how well the modes and suction levels fit my needs. it's easy to pour and i have no issues with leaks. battery life is good and it isn't noisy. — laninatriste
I’ve got the Ardo Alyssa and I loved it but it’s too loud specially at night when my husband and kids are sleeping plus it has cords so this is definitely an upgrade. These are comparable to my MomCozy pumps. These are small and would fit any kind of bra. They are more discreet looking and doesn’t make so much noise which is a plus. Suction is great like my Ardo Alyssa. Gives me really good output. Comes with -9mm flange which is my size. Easy to clean and sterilize. Love it. — Ayhesa
I wish I had this before I had given birth. I had a pretty knarly tear in the perineal area after giving birth and it was difficult during recovery. I'm actually using this during my postpartum phase just as a moisturizer for dry skin in targeted areas, particularly my feet. During pregnancy my feet swelled up pretty badly, with edema and all, and after giving birth everything went back to normal except that my skin was really dry and stretched out. This oil felt very soothing to me and also moisturizing. I could tell that if I had used this prior to giving birth my perineal would not have suffered such a tear and my discomfort wouldn't be so severe. I'm happy with this oil and like that there are no super strong and artificial fragrance as I am sensitive to that sort of thing. Recommend! — Prime Cat
Just started using this oil and I can honestly say I am amazed. First of all when you open the bottle it smells amazing! Plus for it being vegan! So far it has worked great for me and I have also started adding it to my daily routine and started putting it on my belly to prevent stretch marks and itching. Definite five stars!! — Lorena
The expecting couple loved it — Angie
Nice and thin! Work great! A savior to my super sore, bleeding nipples after bringing baby home. — Ana
Nice mum was happy and baby too, very comfortable. — Aulona
I’ve spent many late nights, in the dark, with my phone flashlight on-but partially covered with a blanket or something to try to dim it. Having to adjust the light to all sorts of angles so I could see. Struggling and trying not to wake my kids and husband up with the bright light… These little lights have solved all of those problems! They are perfectly bright enough so that I can see what I need to, but they aren’t bright enough to wake anyone up. They are right on the pump, so I can see the milk flow, when it slows, when it stops, how full the bottle is, etc. they are PERFECT. GET THEM. — Amazon Customer
These little pump lights are a night time must have! Middle of the night pumps are so annoying when you have to turn the lights on and wake yourself up. These helps so much and stop me from needing to turn the lights on as I can just turn these little lights on and the light on my pump and it’s enough to not have to use the ceiling lights! Highly recommend for any exclusive pumper! — Amazon Customer
I don't even know what to say besides that fact that this little product is genius. If you are constantly needing to look when you have a letdown to see how much milk is coming out AND you are always using your phone light (or needing to be in a bright room), then you need these little lights. These are especially fantastic for those middle of the night pumps when you don't want a light on or even your phone, since I'd rather be scrolling it than using its flashlight. These have two settings - low and high. They are lightweight, so you don't have to worry about them weighing down your flange and bottle setup. The light itself can be a bit jarring depending on how you place it, so play around with it. But it's just awesome. It is so clever and thank you to whoever was having this same issue of not being able to see well and decided enough was enough, and came up with this solution! My only gripe, if there was one, is that I wish that charger was a dual head. That way I could charge them at once. But I realize that I can use another Type C charger to charge them together. It would just be more convenient to plug into the same outlet. These do take a while to charge, so the first night, since I only had the one cable, took a very long time to be able to try these out due to charging each one. — Amazon Customer
An amazing pump, quiet, gentle, yet very efficient, especially with the soft massage inserts. Once I went through the quick guide, the pump set is easy to put together. While it does not have a letdown button, I could easily adjust cycles and vacuum once milk started coming in. Plus the bag is sturdy & versatile. — Nai Pereira
Feels great - This pump feels realistic, it provides a pleasant pumping experience. — Realistic Feeling
Best pump yet! - Bought this pump sealed in box from a friend, and boy am I glad! It's definitely quiet. For 4 months now I've used my spectra brand pumps and there had to be something better! I found this Ardo set and I've used it 4 hours a day since it was delivered! Virtually no pain, my breasts have recovered from damage from my other pumps, and it empties in half the time! 5 stars! — Pumpinmama
Quiet at last - The Ardo has some nice pros and a few cons. For starters, it is very quiet, which is very nice. I use it while pumping one side, while my baby nurses on the other, often in the middle of the night, right next to my husband. Because it's so quiet, she can often still nurse calmly and usually falls asleep even though the pump is very close by. I also really like the stands that hold the bottle. I've used other pumps before and it's nice to know that when I put the pump parts down, they aren't top heavy and wont fall over. The pluses out weigh the minuses but there are a few things I wish were different. Mainly, that the bottle demarcations were easier to see. Also, I wish the pump remembered my last setting when I turned it back on. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me this breast pump! — 莉莉
Couldn't get a good fit, but loved the pump. - This breastpump has qualities I wish my other double pump had and lacks features I didn't know I would miss. I bf both of my girls and have been pumping to supplement for one right after the other was done, for the last 2 years. This is the 3rd electric double pump I have used, 4th pump altogether. What I really, really like about it is it's portability. There's not much to the pump so I can bring it with me anywhere and it fits in many of the handbags I currently have. I can't even consider doing that with the Medela double pump I have. The only thing about using it anywhere is that the power cable is only 4 feet long so I have to set myself up pretty close to an outlet. You also don't want to set up anywhere there is even a remote amount of debris, because the tubing on it is a weird matte material and EVERYTHING sticks to it. I normally pump sitting on the edge of my bed and my tubes after only one use are covered in little cotton fuzzies. I don't know if they are going to have other attachments that will be available, but I wasn't able to find a flange that worked very well. I normally use a 27mm for my Medela pump, and the Ardo came with 26s, 28s and 31s. I tried both the 26 and the 28 but neither felt comfortable. They also have a flexible flange that sits within the 31 that is supposed to allow you to massage without losing suction. I like the concept, but on my smaller breasts this piece didn't get any results. Should you find a flange that fits properly, this pump is really customizable. The Medela double I have has 2 settings: a build up to let down, and the monotonous pump. Then it has a knob where I can turn up or down the intensity of the suction. This portable Ardo is completely customizable. It takes a bit to get used to what setting you want it on and what works best for your own let down, but once I have it right I let down faster and I can change the setting to the monotonous pump at exactly the rate and strength that I want. As far as pieces go, this pump is hands down easier to clean. There are less pieces and they are sturdier than the Medela. The only exception is this terrible, dust-magnet tubing. — Anginator
Great Pump! - Having pumped for all 3 of my children (ages 4 years, 2 years and 1.5 months) – I’ve only ever used the Medela PIS until now. When the Ardo Calypso arrived, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The pump is smaller than I thought it would be and SO incredibly quiet when it’s on!! So the biggest pro for me – this pump is a closed system! Yes – this means no milk condensation in the pump…ever! I also noticed rubber feet on the base of the pump, which prevents the pump from slipping off the table. The double A battery compartment is built into the pump, so there are no extra adapters that you need to purchase if you need to pump in the car or away from an outlet. The ability to customize the suction strength and cycle time is also helpful…if you have pumped before and know what to expect when you’re pumping. I feel like this feature could be confusing for new moms as the Medela PIS has much easier controls. When I pumped with the Ardo Calypso, at first it was confusing to set up, but there are so many helpful videos on YouTube to assist with using the pump. I did notice that once I was set up, I pumped about the same as I would have with my Medela PIS. The suction didn’t seem as strong at first, and I had it cranked to the maximum setting, but after the pump “warmed up” I noticed the suction was better. Figuring out my personal expression cycle took a bit of trial and error as well. I did yield about the same amount of milk as my other pump for that time of day. One con that I noticed is that the power cord is about a foot shorter than my other pump…not a deal breaker, but it was noticeable as I had to sit slightly closer to the outlet when I was pumping. Also, when fully put together, the bottles/flanges felt a little heavier than the Medela set up – for double pumping, a hands free bra would be needed – as there’s really no way to adjust the suction/cycle if you’re holding the flanges to your body. As with other reviews, the material of the tubing does cause dust and hair to stick to it, but again that’s not a deal breaker for me. As this pump is not readily available in the U.S. yet, I believe purchasing extra parts (bottles, flanges, etc.) can only be done online – I did not see any Ardo parts at my local baby retailers. I would like to try the soft optiflow inserts to see if they did help with milk production, but they are not included in the insurance package. In conclusion, this is a great pump – I will likely use it more often when my maternity leave ends and I’m back at the office – the quietness of the pump will allow me to pump while taking calls - and for a working mom, that is a pretty big deal. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me this breast pump to try and review! — 辛迪-M.
Highly reccomended - This is the best product on the market. Any mother who tries it will choose it over the other pumps as it is so customizable for the comfort of the user with 64 different setting. It's so quiet it can be used anywhere anytime. and the peace of mind knowing the closed system prevents contamination of the pump an tubing is an extra benefit. — DME company
Amazing kit - This kit is everything ! I love the green color and the shape of the bottles . the bag holds everything ! And the pump is pretty amazing too! So glad I got this — Kim
Worked great to help heal nipples from my teething daughter. Loved being able to stick a few in my cooler to bring to work and use after each daytime pumping session. — Amazon Customer
Wow! For the price it looks secure for all needs! Love the color and the holders for the bottles and the bpa free plus vaccum seal! And it's quiet!! My baby won't hear it just smell my milk lol but what a plus that this pump offers compared to others - Wow! For the price it looks secure for all needs! Highly Recommended - The family of Ardo pumps are the finest available breast pumps on the market today. Ardo has considered the need for effectiveness, a quiet, closed system, as well as a choice of flange sizes. With the Swiss design and manufacturing, choosing Ardo means that mothers finally have a pump that out shines every other. Ardo is perfect pump for every mother. — Kathleen Huggins, R.N., M.S., IBCLC -- Author of "The Nursing Mothers’ Companion”
These were ok. I usually use the target brand which are $5.77 for 60 so these are a little more pricey. I also don’t think they absorb as quickly as others I’ve used, I’ve noticed them leaking through a few times while nursing on the other side. However I feel like they do hold quite a bit. They will get the job done. — Hmeye909
I love everything about these breast pads! They really are ultra absorbant - they never leak on me, even when saturated! I also love the contoured shape and the way they fit comfortably without awkward lumps. They are comfortable and feel soft and gentle on sore nipples, and the adhesive backing holds on really well inside my bras without shifting or bunching. I also like the individual, easy to open wrapping. I much prefer the Ardo Day & Night Pads over all the other brands I've tried! — Yeah.
Great nursing pads. I’m fighting an over supply so I leak quite a bit at each feed. These odd have a plastic coating on the back even when they are super full they don’t get my shirt wet. I have tried a ton of pads and these are some of the best, no leaks, stay put, don’t look weird in my shirt :) — Kristi
